We present an application of Grover{\textquoteright}s search algorithm for quantum computers to the one-dimensional Ising model. In particular, a linear, open ferromagnetic system of four spins is considered, and the algorithm is used to find the six states having energy -ε. By using the Hamiltonian operator, the action of a phase-flipping oracle is defined. An 84\% probability of success is obtained after one iteration.
