abstract = {We use an entanglement criterion that is based on the quantum Fisher information to detect entanglement in thermal mixed states of an XY dimer. In the absence of an external magnetic field we find that it detects entanglement only in the anisotropic regions beyond the Ising line. Entanglement is destroyed at high temperatures, and this criterion is only able to detect entanglement at a lower threshold temperature than concurrence.},

abstract = {The Towpedo is a torpedo-shaped device used to conduct rapid and wide-range photographic surveys of shallow coral reefs. The objectives of this study were to determine the forces acting on a Towpedo moving in seawater and determine its drag coefficient via computational fluid dynamics. A computer generated model of the Towpedo was subjected to fluid tunnel simulations using computational fluid dynamic software. The results revealed regions of highest pressure at the nose of the Towpedo, while forces acting perpendicular to the direction of motion were relatively small compared to the drag force acting along the direction of flow. Resulting drag force was also found to exhibit a quadratic relationship with velocity, which is consistent with empirical models of drag. From these results, the drag coefficient of the Towpedo was determined.},

abstract = {Computational fluid dynamics simulations of silane inside a two-dimensional container filled with nitrogen gas were performed using finite element methods. Pressure gradients were introduced to the system, and the time needed for the system to reach dynamic equilibrium for mass fractions, pressure, and velocity was determined. The inlet size was also varied to determine how it affects the equilibriation time.},
