	abstract = {The scattering of a quantum particle in one dimension from a P{\"o}schl-Teller potential is demonstrated using a quantum simulator, Qiskit, consisting of 10 qubits. Solving the Schr{\"o}dinger equation with this potential is implemented as the action on the qubits by Fourier transforms and diagonal operators represented as controlled-phase shift gates. Hence, a quantum algorithm is constructed that is capable of modulating the reflection and transmission of a quantum particle by varying the shape of the P{\"o}schl-Teller potential using a single parameter λ. The results obtained from Qiskit are verified using symbolic architecture simulations.},
