Abstract
We considered genetic diversity within the framework of the Penna model. Using the entropy of genetic diversity as measure, we found genetic diversity to increase with reproductive age <em>R</em>, for the case where the threshold parameter <em>T</em> is less than <em>R</em>. In addition, we found the saturation population to decrease with increasing genetic diversity.
