Mara Reyes

Mara obtained her BS Physics degree in 2025 with the support of a DOST–SEI RA 7687 Scholarship. For her thesis work, she applied an algorithm that employs percolation theory to detect and identify scratches in multiple images of steel surfaces. Shortly after graduating, she applied for an internship position at the Epidemiology Bureau of the Department of Health.
