Introduction to Recent Achievements of Hadron Physics

Hadrons that form atomic nuclei of matter are composite particles of quarks and gluons governed by quantum chromodynamics (QCD). Recently, many new hadrons, so called exotic states, have been observed at large accelerator facilities such as KEK (Japan), LHC (Europe), BEP (China), and others. By studying these states, we are expecting various non-trivial dynamics of QCD at low energies, such as symmetry breaking and generation of quasi particles. In this presentation, we would like to introduce recent activities in hadron physics and share common ideas in various physics fields.
