Rona is a faculty member of the UPLB Institute of Physics. She successfully defended her MS Physics thesis on spin-orbit entanglement in a two-dimensional electron gas in 2015. She is currently pursuing a PhD degree at the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences at the Academia Sinica with a research focus on vibrational spectroscopy.
